Sacred Farms is here to improve the world.

We inherited a beautiful Earth that provided us with everything we ever needed. Unfortunately, as our numbers have grown, we have created an imbalance on Earth and we are approaching a future where sustainability is not assured. Sacred Farms wants to recalibrate this imbalance through Industrial Hemp.

Industrial Hemp can be the base material in many of our daily needs, including our plastic water bottles, the home we live in, the car we drive, the food we eat, and the electricity that powers our computer. Until 2018, Hemp was allowed only to be grown in limited quantity and processed for research. With the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, Hemp was descheduled as a controlled substance and now Hemp is ripe to become a sustainable economy.

Sacred Farms has an ambitious plan to be the first and largest mass producer of Hemp in the U.S. to eventually fulfill all of its requirements. To do this, we intend to cultivate as much arable lands, not currently in use, to grow Hemp. To prove this concept, we are going to enhance New Mexico first.

New Mexico is mostly a dry arid state, with few agricultural opportunities. If a crop can grow in New Mexico, it can grow anywhere.

New Mexico is also home to numerous Native American Tribes, who control vast amount of arable lands in New Mexico. Sacred Farms has established communications and built strong relationships with government officials of New Mexico, as well as Local and Federal officials, along with Tribal elders, who share in the vision of enhancing the economic and sustainable future of New Mexico where Hemp plays a key role. With millions of acres available to cultivate Hemp, New Mexico stands to be at the forefront of the Hemp economy.

Sacred Farms will create jobs in agriculture, technical research, manufacturing, construction, and foods. Many of these jobs will be on Tribal lands to increase economic opportunities and build sustainable communities. Sacred Farms is in talks with New Mexico State University and the Santa Fe College Trades and Science Institute to create a curriculum in the multiple facets of the Hemp economy, from cultivation, to extraction and processing, research and development, and manufacturing of Hemp products. Numerous educational opportunities will be afforded to local and tribal communities which an emphasis on high-earning potential degrees and certificates related to science, agriculture, and trades within the Hemp industry.

Industrial Hemp will not only improve the economy of New Mexico,
it will improve its environment.

As Hemp grows, it absorbs carbon dioxide, creating carbon credits for Sacred Farms. By growing Hemp in New Mexico on a massive scale, a tremendous amount of carbon dioxide will be removed from the environment, where we will see noticeable change. Once we are successful in changing New Mexico’s environment, we are eager to support further studies on how Hemp has improved the state.

As New Mexico’s Hemp economy advances and becomes self-sustaining, Sacred Farms will expand its outreach to other states, Native American Tribes, and Tribal agricultural entities. New Mexico’s success in Hemp cultivation will be used as a model for other States and Tribes interested in Hemp cultivation to follow.

When Sacred Farms’ ambitions are met, we hope that 100 million acres of U.S. land (or approximately 10% of current USDA designated farmland) is covered with Industrial Hemp.
